Job Description

The SAP Utilities Project Manager is directly accountable/responsible for successful project delivery of Communications SAP Utilities engagements. This individual provides hands-on leadership & direction to the team as well as manages client relationships. The Project Manager will also be heavily involved in business case development & performance measurement. This is a hands-on consulting delivery role. This is not an account management or business development role. Preferred Candidates should have management consulting experience with Utilities clients on SAP engagements & have the PMI Certification. Position requires candidates to be located in one of the 21 core cities & up to 100% travel.

 

West coast based candidate preferred.

Consultant must have:
Deep understanding and experience with the SAP Utilities Industry Solution (IS-U)
Deep understanding of Customer Service processes in the Utilities Industry
Experience with the SAP CCS solution in a Utilities environment.
Work Design, GIS, Mobile Workforce Management)
Mobile Workforce Management (Crew Scheduling; Dispatch; Mobile Data Collection)
Project Systems (Large Capital Projects)
Materials Management
Services Procurement / Contractor Management
Candidates should expect 100% travel.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 5 years experience in Delivering and assisting with consulting sales for SAP Utilities projects
  • At least 5 years experience in Project Management experience on Large-scale SAP Implementations
  • At least 5 years experience in Transmission and Distribution Work Management experience (New Construction, Compatible Units, Bundling, Graphic Work Design, GIS, Mobile Workforce Management)
  • Readiness to travel Up to 5 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
  • English: Intermediate

Preferred

  • Master's Degree
