Travel Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Join a dedicated team in a medical surgical setting. This position involves caring for adult and geriatric patients. The average daily census is 32 patients. The nurse to patient ratio is 1:6. The role does not require call but may require floating to similar units. The unit has 32 beds and provides interdisciplinary support, including physical therapy and respiratory services. Weekend shifts are required, with a total of 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week period. A brief orientation will be provided on the unit. This is a great opportunity for first-time travelers.

Experience: 1 year of recent experience required License: NM/Compact license required prior to start Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required; CPI preferred Must-Have: - Blood Product Administration - Central line blood draw - Chest tubes management - Colostomy/ileostomy management - Feeding tube care and management - High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) - Insulin management - Isolation Precautions/PPE - Nasal Cannula care - Non-invasive airway management - Oral suctioning - Oxygen administration - PCA management - Peripheral Line Care/Management - Phlebotomy skills - PICC line management - Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management - Surgical drains management - Wound Care/Wound Vac
