Mobile Testing Tech Needed in Midlothian, TX
We are seeking a Mobile Testing Technician who will operate a traveling Mobile Testing Lab for dielectric testing and inspections of high-voltage personal protective equipment and Bucket Trucks.
Responsibilities include:
  • Inspect and clean mechanical hoists, ground sets, mechanical jumpers, rubber coverup and hot sticks
  • Build custom mechanical jumpers and ground sets
  • Perform high-voltage dielectric testing
  • Perform annual and DOT inspections of Bucket Trucks
  • Perform dielectric oil testing
  • Maintain accurate testing data
  • Follow all employer health/safety rules and operating procedures
  • Proper housekeeping

What we are looking for in a qualified candidate:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Background in repairing hydraulic systems or tools
  • Preferred background in repairing mechanical, battery, electric and gas-powered tools
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more
  • Clean MVR required and the ability to travel 70% of the time
  • Requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work different shifts (days/evenings) and some weekends
  • Two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
