Familiarity with inspection software, digital reporting tools, and sometimes drones for roof assessments is typically required. These skills ensure thorough, reliable inspections that contribute to the safety, longevity, and compliance of roofing projects.

What kind of inspectors make the most money?

In the roofing industry, inspectors with advanced skills, knowledge of building codes, and the ability to identify complex issues generally make more money than entry-level inspectors.

What are some common challenges Mobile Roofing Inspectors face when conducting inspections across multiple locations?

Mobile Roofing Inspectors often encounter challenges such as navigating varying weather conditions, adapting to different roofing materials and structures, and managing tight schedules across multiple sites. They must stay organized to efficiently document findings and communicate results to clients and contractors. Additionally, building strong relationships with property owners and team members is essential for coordinating access and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

How to make $100k in roofing sales?

A Mobile Roofing Inspector can increase earnings to $100k by developing strong sales skills, building a large network of clients, and consistently closing high-value roofing projects. Gaining industry certifications and understanding insurance claims can also improve sales effectiveness and income potential.

Do I need a license to fly a drone for roof inspections?

Mobile roofing inspectors using drones for roof inspections must comply with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, which generally require drone pilots to obtain a Remote Pilot Certificate.
