THE ROLE

We are looking for an R&D Delivery Manager to help our R&D organization deliver faster, more predictably, and with higher quality across multiple teams and initiatives.

As an R&D Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for driving execution across R&D initiatives, releases, SDK integrations, product improvements, and cross-functional projects.

You will work closely with Engineering, Product, Design, QA, DevOps, Data, Monetization, UA, and business stakeholders to make sure priorities are clear, timelines are realistic, blockers are removed, and delivery commitments are met.

This is not a people-management role and not a pure Scrum Master role. Your mission is to create delivery clarity, improve execution discipline, and make sure important initiatives move from planning to production predictably.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own delivery tracking across multiple R&D initiatives and mobile app projects.
  • Manage timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and delivery dashboards.
  • Coordinate between Engineering, Product, Design, QA, DevOps, Data, Monetization, UA, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify blockers early and drive them to resolution.
  • Ensure releases, integrations, experiments, and app improvements move smoothly from planning to production.
  • Improve development workflows, planning rituals, delivery processes, and cross-team communication.
  • Provide clear status updates to leadership, including what is on track, delayed, blocked, or at risk.
  • Help teams balance priorities, capacity, urgency, and business impact.
  • Define and track delivery metrics such as cycle time, throughput, release predictability, blocked time, and delivery quality.

What Success Looks Like

  • R&D delivery becomes more predictable, transparent, and measurable.
  • Teams have fewer unclear dependencies, fewer last-minute surprises, and fewer blocked initiatives.
  • Leadership has clear visibility into progress, risks, and trade-offs.
  • Releases and app initiatives move faster from planning to production.
  • Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, Data, Monetization, and UA work together with clearer ownership and less friction.

Requirements

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • 4+ years of experience in delivery management, technical project management, program management, R&D operations, or a similar role in a technology company.
  • Experience managing delivery across multiple engineering teams or complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, release management, QA, and production delivery.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Strong ability to manage timelines, risks, dependencies, blockers, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to drive progress without formal authority.
  • Comfortable working with technical teams and understanding technical trade-offs.
  • Data-driven mindset and experience using metrics to improve delivery performance.
  • Strong ownership, structure, follow-through, and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with mobile apps, Android, iOS, app stores, SDK integrations, or mobile release processes.
  • Experience in companies managing multiple products, apps, or high-volume release environments.
  • Experience with monetization, subscriptions, ads, A/B testing, analytics, or growth experimentation.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Shortcut, Confluence, GitHub, Firebase, Google Play Console, or App Store Connect.
