Security Officer - Armed Mobile Patrol

As an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation; report observed hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A active Guard Card or license is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
