Production Manager - Field Operations

Job Location: Blades of Grass Landscaping, Lagrange, OH

This is a senior field leadership position. Applicants must have prior experience managing crews, scheduling work, and overseeing daily operations. Entry-level applicants will not be considered.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and oversee production operations within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about optimizing processes, ensuring product quality, and driving team performance. The Production Manager will play a key role in coordinating daily activities, managing resources, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.Responsibilities
  • Own daily field operations, production output, quality control, and crew performance across all service divisions
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate multiple crews and projects to hit daily and weekly production targets
  • Lead, coach, and hold foremen and crew leads accountable to safety, quality, and efficiency standards
  • Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement systems and process improvements
  • Partner with Operations Manager, Sales, and Office Team to align scheduling, staffing, and job readiness
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and equipment standards
  • Track production metrics, labor hours, and efficiency; provide regular performance reports
Qualifications
  • 3+ years managing field crews
  • Experience scheduling and coordinating multiple teams
  • Experience in landscaping, lawn care, construction, or facilities services
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Comfortable using software for scheduling, communication, and reporting
