Job description

Seeking a full time Newly Admitted Attorney to join our legal support team and meaningfully contribute to the growth and success of our rapidly expanding practice.

Are you a newly admitted NJ Attorney, looking for courtroom action in the Hackensack, NJ (Bergen County) area?

The ideal candidate will be responsible and detail oriented. S/he will also be highly skilled in anticipating the needs of the Partner to which s/he is assigned and in managing and responding to clients in a professional and timely manner. This position calls for someone who can multi-task and keep cases organized.

Responsibilities
  • A strong desire to help clients;
  • Willingness to be part of a winning team;
  • Unique understanding of building and proving damage models;
  • Legal intelligence in formulating case strategies;
  • Good writing, organization, computer skills, and work ethic;
  • Strong desire to win results on behalf of injured clients;
  • Strong desire to work with the latest cuttingedge technologies.
  • Qualifications
  • Admission to the NJ Bar;
  • Strong academic background;
  • Past life experiences demonstrating character and commitment;
  • Strong desire to learn the art of litigation from 12 certified civil trial attorneys;
  • Willingness to learn and be trained in client intake, advice, discovery, interrogatory preparation, depositions, motion practice, arbitrations, and secondseating experienced lawyers at trials;
  • Desire to learn the art of originating new cases to supplement the salary;
  • Understanding of legal medicine is a plus;
  • Computer skills with Microsoft Word and Outlook;
  • Second language skills are a plus, i.e., Spanish.
