Job Title: Suspension Specialist –
Mobile Medical Unit Production
Position Description:
The Suspension Specialist is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and quality assurance of suspension systems on mobile medical units. This role ensures all vehicles meet safety, performance, and regulatory standards while supporting the production team in delivering high-quality, reliable mobile healthcare solutions.
Essential job duties include but are not limited to:
  • Install, assemble, and align suspension systems on mobile medical units, including springs, shocks, axles, and related components.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot suspension-related issues during production and post-installation inspections.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure all suspension systems meet company standards and DOT compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve suspension performance and durability.
  • Read and interpret schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and report any defects or inconsistencies.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Required Knowledge/Skills:
  • Strong understanding of vehicle suspension systems, including heavy-duty and specialty vehicles.

Education:

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and working under vehicles.
  • Ability to work in a production/shop environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
Additional requirements:
This is a full-time position. Employees are expected to work a general schedule of 8 hours per day, 5 days per week. Employees may be required to work beyond the standard schedule to meet the deliverables and expectations of the role.
