Job Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses.
  • Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments.
  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients.
  • Develops and implements patient management policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities.
  • Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care.

Qualifications:
  • Master of Science degree with completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program required.
  • Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current BLS certification or obtained prior to providing direct patient care is required.
  • DEA and CDS eligible.
  • 3+ years' experience as a NP preferred.
  • Nurse practitioner license in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D.C. preferred.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D.C. preferred.
