Role Description The Mobile Dog Groomer is a full-time, on-site role based in Syosset, NY, providing professional grooming services at or from the Shaggy To Chic Spa location and potentially in a mobile capacity. Day-to-day tasks include bathing, drying, brushing, trimming, and styling dogs’ coats; cleaning ears; trimming nails; and checking for basic skin or coat issues. The Mobile Dog Groomer will manage grooming appointments, maintain grooming equipment and a clean work area, and ensure all services are performed safely and humanely. This role also involves communicating clearly with pet guardians about grooming options, pet behavior, and aftercare, while delivering friendly, responsive customer service. The Mobile Dog Groomer is expected to follow safety and sanitation protocols and work collaboratively with other team members to provide consistent, high-quality care.

Qualifications

  • Practical dog grooming skills, including bathing, brushing, clipping, scissoring, nail trimming, and basic coat and skin care.
