Location Houston, Texas (work in the client's office 1 or 2 days per week)
Project Description:
You'll implement your critical thinking and technical skills to develop cutting-edge software, and you'll have the opportunity to interact with teams across disciplines. In this project, you will be a member of the Information Technology Team, within the Information Technology Division.
Responsibilities:
The role is for a Project Manager who can lead and manage a team with exposure to AWS Cloud Mobile Development, using Agile methodology.
Mandatory Skills Description:
- 4+ years of Project Management experience leading and managing large, complex projects in a matrixed organization
- Proven Microsoft Suite expertise (including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Strong working knowledge and experience in MSProject
- Must be comfortable with communicating to all levels of leadership
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and presentation
- Strong customer-service oriented
- Serves as a leader/ mentor
- Ability to problem solve, make decision quickly, take initiative, has a sense of urgency and assertiveness
- Experience leading virtual and distributed Project teams, as team will be located onshore, offshore and nearshore
- Adaptability; self-starter; team player; quality minded; focused; committed; able to work independently
- Proven ability to hold people accountable
- Demonstrated ability to work in a complex environment with often conflicting priorities
- Identify risks and issues and address them on a timely basis
