Position Summary
Credence has an immediate need for a Network and Computer Systems Administrator to support the Rapid Enterprise Solutions Division (AFLCMC/EBR) with a diverse team that is responsible for providing enabling capabilities to the Armament Directorate. The Division has responsibility for developing how AFLCMC/EB designs, develops, tests, and sustains its weapon systems. The EBR focus is to modernize support so program office teams can accelerate solutions delivery to the warfighter.
EBR has responsibility to deliver rapid enterprise solutions in the following areas: delivering AFLCMC/EB with multi-level secure on-premise & cloud-based digital ecosystems for program offices to collaborate real-time with their prime contractors; integrating model-based systems engineering and office productivity software tools in these environments with appropriate support across AFLCMC/EB; training the AFLCMC/EB workforce to use the tools, and deploying the tools with appropriate support across AFLCMC/EB; security control assessments to programs and IT systems; cyber protection services to programs; weaponeering type services to include but not limited to lethality, survivability and other modeling, simulation and analysis activities in a development, security, operations (DevSecOps) environment; facility operations management to include facility projects; human capital and resource management.
This job is onsite at Eglin AFB, FL.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the duties listed below:
  • Provide support and assistance in the management and operations of armament program related network systems.
  • Assist the Government with the following tasks including, but not limited to:
  • Supporting Tier I and Tier II IT systems;
  • Imaging, patching, and configuring classified/unclassified systems;
  • Managing SharePoint;
  • Administrating and operating Help Desk ticketing systems;
  • Providing customer service support via in-person, email, phone, remote, etc.;
  • Providing technical support for briefing setups, presentations, VTCs, and online meetings;
  • Performing IT equipment custodian management duties and responsibilities, including inventory and equipment destruction/transfers;
  • Performing maintenance of functional and reliable telecommunication services for customer programs, including classified Secure Telephone Units, Secure Telephone Voice over IP phones, fax, voicemail, VTC, desktop VTC, and overhead projection services/equipment;
  • Assisting end-users with the operation, restoration of information, and access to business systems;
  • Creating and maintaining organizational boxes, folder permissions, security groups, and assisting with distribution groups;
  • Performing Cyber Security Liaison duties;
  • Performing mobile device support and configuration;
  • Administrating and operating commercially hosted websites and cloud-based systems.
  • Apply knowledge and experience in the administration and management of organizational information and network systems, including customer service, COMSEC support, equipment accountability, and software license management.
  • Prepare technical implementation plans that provide integrated solutions, including actions, milestones, timelines, and critical paths required for complete solutions;
  • Assist organizations with the development, design, implementation, and maintenance of databases, spreadsheets, and workflows;
  • Provide customer access support for Continuous Acquisition and Life-Cycle Support applications, including System Program Office Management Information System, Automated Business System Support, ConWrite, Contractor Performance Assessment Report System, Enhanced Technical Information System, Joint Engineering Data Management Information and Control Systems, Defense Security Assistance Management System, FENCEs, and other future systems, networks, or custom standardized Government software applications;
  • Assist with COMSEC operations and cryptonet management duties and responsibilities;
  • Provide support and assistance in the development and management of acquisition program related networks and systems;
  • Adhere to applicable documentation requirements to perform certification of unclassified, classified, and/or Special Access Program network systems, as applicable;
  • Assess, implement, develop, manage, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, account for, and administer Local Area Networks, information systems, electronic messaging services, telecommunications, mobile devices, IT infrastructure, cabling, and other customer-required IT services, including classified and unclassified networks and cloud enclaves;
  • Assist with the development of web-based IT equipment applications, SharePoint, management portal applications, and other custom Government software applications; provide hosting and support to facilitate customer access to acquisition life-cycle support applications and future spiral developments; and develop and manage databases as required;
  • Meet and work with Government, military, civilian agencies, and Government Contractors for project planning and facilitation of Information Management requirements; the Contractor shall not represent the Government at such meetings;
  • Assist with the development, coordination, and implementation of short- and long-term strategies for reliable and secure operation, evolution, growth, and life-cycle management of automation hardware, software infrastructure, and system resources;
  • Perform research, testing, evaluations, and implementation of new technology to fulfill current and future needs and expectations of supported programs;
  • Provide data management services, including file indexing and archiving, backup, and document destruction;
  • Manage hardware and software, perform configuration management, and troubleshoot IT-related equipment;
  • Perform daily configuration and operation of business systems, optimize system operation and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis, planning, and life-cycle management;
  • Assist with IT project management planning and execution, coordinate with internal and external organizations, attend project planning meetings, prepare and brief appropriate agencies, organizations, and leadership, and assist with deployment of baseline operating system configurations in physical and virtual environments to DoD assets, including servers, workstations, and laptops;
  • Asses current or future customers' needs and priorities by communicating directly with customers, conducting surveys, or using other methods;
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings related to information technology projects;
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts. baseband modulation.

Requirements
  • A minimum of a Top-Secret security clearance is required.
  • Associate's degree and three (3) years of relevant experience.
  • Information technology support personnel must have and maintain a minimum Information Assurance Technical Level II certification and be certified to support network operations as outlined in DoD Manual 8140.03, Cyberspace Workforce Qualification and Management Program, or applicable successor or revision, such as Security+ CE, GSEC, CCNA-Security, or CISSP.
