What You'll Do: Read basic shop sketches, drawings and blueprints Interpret difficult isometric drawings and blueprints accurately Layout and fit up components per drawings and specifications with minimal supervision Pipe fit-up and fabrication of simple and complex systems Weld with all sizes of wire and electrodes Set up and operate electric and engine-driven welding equipment oxygen acetylene cutting equipment operate hand-held plasma-cutting equipment Operate rigging equipment and perform simple to complex rigging operations small and large Be able to identify different filler materials and uses Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with company and industry safety regulations.

What You'll Need: 3-5yrs experience required of fabrication skills with structural and pipe shapes MSHA certification is a plus Stick, MIG and TIG welding experience 6G qualifications preferred and must be proficient in acquiring D1.1 certification upon hire Experience with overhead cranes operation a plus Experience with the use of mobile cranes and crane signaling a plus Work involves almost constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, bio-hazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or constant loud noise Considerable physical activity. Requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required objects up to 50 pounds. Physical work is a primary part (more than 60%) of job Work environment can involve exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations that require following extensive safety precautions and may include the use of protective equipment Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, dependable, and able to follow written and verbal instructions
