Pay range for this position is $34.25 - $51.13/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.
Overview
POSITION SUMMARY: The RN Wound/Enterostomy implements and evaluates the activities for total patient care, following outlined protocols, in the delivery of acute and chronic wound care, enterostomy care, and hyperbaric treatments. Will demonstrate competency in and be responsible for treating various types of patients seen including critically ill and chronically ill patients, ranging in age from pediatric to geriatric. Performs various educational activities, including infection control, aseptic dressing technique, and preventive care. Educates patient, significant other and/or caretaker, including a return demonstration within the Medical Center and community. Area of focus may be inpatient or outpatient.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing
Experience: 2 years of nursing experience
Licensure/ Certification: IL Reg Nurse License or MI Reg Nurse License Other skills/ knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Experience: Experience with Hyperbarics
Licensure/ Certification: Wound Care certification or Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse, ACLS certification
