Behavioral Health Connections (BHC) in Houston, TX is seeking a dynamic and talented Mobile Assessor PRN Varied shifts to join the team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. The Mobile Assessment Team Evaluator ("Assessor") provides mental health assessments for contracted emergency rooms and/or hospitals, recommends the appropriate level of treatment based on the Assessorโ€™s assessment of risk factors, and triages patients to appropriate services.

Qualifications EDUCATION

Degree in Nursing or Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

Current license in the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor ("LPC"), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist ("LMFT"), Licensed Master Social Worker ("LMSW"), Licensed Clinical Social Worker ("LCSW"), or Registered Nurse ("RN").

Current CPR, if required by a customer hospital. ("Customer hospital" means the hospital to which BHC is contracted to provide mobile assessment services.)

Must have a valid driverโ€™s license

EXPERIENCE

Completion of appropriate internship, including the provision of individual, group or family therapy/counseling.

Experience providing individual, group and family therapy/counseling.

Mobile assessment experience preferred.
