Job description

LAKE REGION MEDICAL GROUP, P.A. OUTPATIENT PSYCHIATRIST OPPORTUNITY DETAILS:

Lake Region Healthcare / Lake Region Medical Group, P.A. is seeking an Outpatient Psychiatrist to join our growing team of psychiatric providers at our multi-specialty group practice in Fergus Falls, MN.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inform patients and their families about available mental health treatments, both within the organization and through local community support services.
  • Deliver effective outpatient psychiatric care to the adult patient population, ages 18+.
  • Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments and oversee the prescription and management of medications for mental health disorders.
  • Serve as an inpatient psychiatric consultant as requested during business hours.
  • No after hours or weekend on-call required.
  • Full-time position in Fergus Falls, MN during clinic hours, Monday - Friday with options to incorporate virtual visits into schedule and for a condensed work week.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) and completion of an accredited psychiatry residency required.
  • Board certification in psychiatry highly preferred; board eligibility required
  • Active Minnesota Medical License & DEA upon hire
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:

Please note that final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.

  • Base compensation salary is guaranteed starting at $315,000.00/year for the first 2 years of employment, plus the opportunity to earn additional income based on production hours worked (wRVU's).
  • Annual CME reimbursement allowance & paid professional dues and memberships
