Job description

Utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision making skills, works independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. Provides health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted in age-related category and area of expertise.
  • NP/PA - Family Medicine (Float Pool) - Duluth, MN

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, focusing on health promotion and disease prevention.
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
  • Float between multiple clinics as needed, including Hermantown Clinic, Lakewalk Clinic, Lakeside Clinic, Proctor Clinic, and the West Duluth Clinic.
  • Maintain patient-centered care and contribute to a culture of staff resilience.

Work Environment

  • Team Structure:Work alongside a collaborative team of Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, Pharmacists, Nurses, Clinical Assistants, and Integrated Behavioral Health professionals.
  • Schedule:Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m (Possibility of extended hours and occasional Saturdays)
  • FTE: 0.8
  • Patient Load:Estimated 14-16 patients per day.
  • Clinic Culture:Our clinics are designed to promote a high-quality, efficient service model with a focus on patient-centered care and staff well-being.
