This primary care facility is part of a well-established regional health system committed to delivering high-quality, team-based patient care. The practice is building a collaborative team of physicians and nurse practitioners within a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility featuring 24 exam rooms, and works in close partnership with a nearby Critical Access Hospital equipped with 24/7 emergency physician coverage and nurse triage.

Physician - Family Medicine & Hospitalist
Job Details:
  • Function as a leader within a collaborative Care Team, working alongside other healthcare professionals to achieve patient care objectives and ensure continuity of care
  • Join a team of 4 MDs and 4 Nurse Practitioners in a new, 24 exam room, state-of-the-art clinic facility
  • Clinic work performed in Grand Rapids with hospitalist work completed at a modern, 20-bed Critical Access Hospital located approximately 20 minutes away in Deer River
  • Hospitalist call schedule: approximately 1 week every 6 weeks, serving as backup after ER physicians
  • Hospitalist coverage consists of a 3-4 day stretch every 6 weeks
  • Additional procedural opportunities available including colposcopies, endoscopies, stress tests, and EGDs
  • Utilizes EPIC electronic medical record system
  • Flexible FTE options ranging from 0.6 to 1.0 FTE
  • No OB required
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine required
