National certification from ASCP or AMT is essential, as well as a current BLS CPR certification to ensure the highest safety standards. MLT Regulatory/Educational Requirements:

  • Minimum of an Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Science.
  • 1-3 years Medical Laboratory Technician experience preferred.
  • National certification ASCP or AMT or eligible.
  • Current certification in BLS CPR.

Language Skills:

  • Able to communicate effectively in English
  • both verbally and in writing.
  • Additional languages preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
