Title: Bi-Lingual Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant
NMLS License Require
Status: Full time, Exempt/Salaried
Location: Remote
The expected base pay range for this position is from $45,000 to $50,000 plus additional bonus opportunity resulting in an expected total annual compensation of $75,000 to $90,000. The annual compensation range is based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors. Final compensation decisions will take into account a variety of considerations, including individual skills, internal equity, and organizational needs.
Position Summary:
The overall responsibilities of this position are to assist in the day-to-day procedures that can assist Mortgage Loan Originators (MLO) to conduct their jobs most efficiently. The Licensed Assistant is responsible for providing ongoing and consistent support to the sales process as well as excellent communication with internal and external customers. Some specific tasks of this position are to:
Responsibilities:
  • Pull daily pipeline reports.
  • Communicate with consumers after they are approved.
  • Conduct timely document collection and review.
  • Order out once file has been turned in to underwriting.
  • Validate program guidelines and match to all client files.
  • Assist with marketing activities (mailers, events, etc.).
  • Database management for both consumers and agents
  • Communicate effectively with Mortgage Loan Originators and other staff as needed on a timely basis.
  • Follow Silverton's Safeguard Governance Policy to protect customer non-public personal information.
  • Adhere to Silverton's code of zero tolerance for fraud and 100% compliance with the rules and regulators of our industry.
  • Adhere to Company's AML program and procedures where indicated.

Qualifications:
  • Required: Fully licensed MLO in good standing
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the mortgage Industry
  • Understanding of mortgage industry guidelines and regulations
  • Working Knowledge of all residential mortgage types offered by Silverton (Fannie, Freddie, FHA, USDA, VA, Renovation and Construction)

  • Strong detail orientation and highly organized.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management, ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Technology Skills
  • Proficient in computer terminal and personal computer operation; Internet Explorer; WebEx; Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Proficient in Open/Close LOS or similar
  • Familiarity with AUD (LP, DU, GUS, etc.)
