Description:
Our client is looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for
managing and coordinating the development, management, and implementation of
high-profile projects that support the client. An individual in this role
must have a strong background in project management, including experience in
running business area projects. The Project Manager will provide project
management support for the Get Kids Ready program.
Tasks
*ย  ย  ย  ย Project management functions across all assigned projects, including
oversight of workplans, timelines, and evaluation efforts.
*ย  ย  ย  ย External & internal stakeholder engagement - communicate project
status to Department Management Teams, workgroups, providers, and advocacy
organizations.
*ย  ย  ย  ย Develop automated tools to streamline internal processes and make
project development and execution efforts more efficient.
*ย  ย  ย  ย Designs, plans, and coordinates work teams. Follows standard project
management industry practices such as the PMI's framework.
*ย  ย  ย  ย Understands business and technical objectives of a project and works
closely with project sponsor. Creates project charter and work plan, and
tracks budget and schedule progress via appropriate metrics. Establishes
project organization and methodologies and defines roles and
responsibilities.
*ย  ย  ย  ย Documents risks and develop mitigation plans.
