Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS)is seeking aMaintenance Electricianto support theAerospaceComposites Center(ACC)inHazelwood, MO!The AerospaceComposites Center hasstate-of-the-artenabled capabilities andoperatesto support Boeing's Fighter Programs.
The ideal candidate for this position should have an understanding maintenance requirements.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Install, construct, maintain, modify, repair, calibrate, support, verification, functional testing, replace, care for, relocate, move, protect or preserve electrical items, equipment, electrical raceways, devices, apparatus, systems, lighting fixtures, and circuits located or used as part of the industrial property, real property, utility distribution system, plant equipment, production equipment, machine tools, air conditioning or refrigeration equipment, instrumentation, measuring and control devices of various kinds and nature, including accessory or auxiliary items including fastening, welding, bracketing or support devices and including the electrical maintenance on all types of electrical conveyance vehicles, lift vehicles and loading vehicles.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Requirements):
  • Experience as an electrician
  • Experience as a machine repair/maintenance mechanic, NC electrician or similar technical/technician role repairing and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment
  • Experience in high voltage power supply and power modulator theory, design, fabrication, and testing

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possess an Electrician license

Additional Information:
  • This is an hourly position governed by the IBEW local 1 Collective Bargaining agreement.
  • New Hires, as well as employees who transfer from non-union positions, may be required to attend some type of training upon their start. Once any required training has been completed all new employees will be considered on probation for a period of 15 weeks. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of any required training and the probationary period.

Training & Experience:
Education as acquired through high school, relevant experience, and/or trade/vocational training.
Relocation:
This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
