Create a Clean, Welcoming Environment for Every Guest
At Mission Point Resort—Mackinac Island’s only full-service, casually elegant resort—our Housekeeping Team plays a vital role in delivering the comfort and warmth that define our guest experience. We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Resort Housekeepers to help maintain clean, comfortable, and inviting guest rooms and public spaces across our property.


About the Role

Resort Housekeepers ensure guest rooms and common areas are cleaned to high standards, well-stocked, and guest-ready each day. Responsibilities include making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, restocking amenities, and reporting maintenance issues. This role is essential to ensuring the resort consistently delivers an exceptional stay.

You’ll work in a supportive, multicultural environment where teamwork, efficiency, and a positive attitude are key. Successful housekeepers take pride in their work, stay focused in a fast-paced setting, and contribute to a warm, welcoming atmosphere for guests.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Work Ethic: Reliable, motivated, and able to complete tasks independently and with a team
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to follow cleaning procedures and maintain consistent quality
  • Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs., standing for long periods, and working in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional Traits: Friendly, respectful, and able to interact positively with guests and team members
  • Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly
  • Location Requirement: Must be able to live and work on Mackinac Island during the season
