Job description

Our Mission Foods facility in Fresno, CA is looking for an experienced QA Manager to proudly work at this facility. The Total Quality Manager is responsible for partnering with the rest of the organization to consistently develop, produce and supply products that exceed customer and consumer expectations. Protect the brand(s) ensuring the compliance to regulatory requirements. Engage everyone in the organization to strive for the highest standards of quality every day. Monitor and ensure the continuous improvement on product quality and quality system. Monitor and ensure the continuous improvement of the Food Safety Program To mentor and develop the Total Quality team. Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEBachelor?s Degree in food science/Technology or related field required. 5 years of Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing environment required. Bakery or food/beverage manufacturing preferred. With a minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial capacity in a manufacturing/quality environment required. Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered for the above. Extensive experience in Total Quality within consumer food production environments, with a proven track record in leading TQ teams. Experience with regulatory inspectors: AIB, BRC, OSHA, Military, Health Department, EPA, City & County Inspectors) Team management/leadership/development skills. Successful in building and mentoring high performance teams committed to quality and promoting a spirit of teamwork and a culture of continuous improvement. Bilingual English & Spanish REQUIRED Maturity, self-confidence, and strong communication skills will be critical for this role. A multicultural approach to operating in a diverse business environment. Comfortable communicating and operating within an internationally matrixed environment. Able to perform simple analysis. Ability to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends. Strong Computer skills including Microsoft Office Applications.Salary Range: $110,000.00 - $113,000.00 plus $7k Discretionary BonusOur Full Benefits Package includes Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, Life insurance and AD&D Insurance, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance, and Flexible Spending Accounts.
