Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for supporting the technical side of Point of Sale stations and related equipment. This position has no supervisory duties and is an entry level position.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to communicate and work well with others and possess a willingness to work the necessary hours to meet our needs
  • Proficient at troubleshooting & analyzing information thoroughly
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding Windows based OS
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of Point-of-Sale computer hardware
  • Ability to follow established policy and procedure
  • Self-motivated, professional individual who needs minimal supervision
  • Be very flexible in scheduling and be available for occasional overtime
  • Must have strong work ethic

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues on PC’s using approved methods and processes.
  • Install hardware and software.
  • Complete necessary documentation as required on a daily basis.
  • Install/configure/repair network and local printers.
  • Train cashiers on basic computer and POS knowledge.
  • Communicate and interact as required with end users and internal staff.

SECONDARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Back up role to MIS Manager.
  • Know and understand the Guest Services operation.
  • Ability to run needed reports
