The Associate Product Manager will support the Minimally Invasive Laparoscopic Surgery Division by executing product support activities, conducting market research, and driving sales enablement initiatives. This role works closely with product management, sales, marketing, clinical, operations, and regulatory teams to help ensure product line performance, competitive readiness, and effective field support. The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative, and execution-oriented, with a strong interest in the medical device industry and surgical technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support day-to-day product management activities for assigned laparoscopic surgery product lines.
  • Partner with senior product leaders to maintain product information, competitive intelligence, and portfolio documentation.
  • Conduct market research through customer interviews, field feedback, literature review, and competitive analysis to identify trends, needs, and growth opportunities.
  • Analyze market data, sales performance, and customer insights to support product planning and decision-making.
  • Assist in the development of product positioning, messaging, and internal launch materials for new products, line extensions, and portfolio updates.
  • Create and maintain sales enablement tools such as product training materials, presentations, competitive comparison documents, FAQs, and selling aids.
  • Provide product support to the sales organization by helping address product questions, preparing field communications, and supporting customer-facing education activities.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities with sales, marketing communications, operations, customer service, regulatory, quality, and finance to support business objectives.
  • Support product launches, promotions, trade shows, surgeon education events, and national or regional sales meetings as needed.
  • Assist with forecasting, pricing analysis, and product lifecycle activities including line extensions, rationalization, and updates.
  • Monitor competitive activity and communicate relevant insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
  • Help ensure marketing materials and product claims align with regulatory and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in product marketing, product management, sales support, market research, or a related commercial role; medical device or healthcare experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support field activities, customer research, and business meetings.

Salary: $75k - 85K (plus yearly bonus)
