Job description

Team Elmer's seeks to fill an opening for a Pump Truck Operator at the Gaylord plant. This position is responsible for maintenance and general operations of a 32-meter Schwing pump truck. The operator will be dispatched to specific locations on a daily basis and may drive ready mix on days the pump is not utilized.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Workday is spent driving the truck to the construction site and outside while setting up, operating and tearing down the equipment.
  • The operator will complete a daily inspection of the truck.
  • Operator will complete daily inspection of the truck.
  • Operator must wear a reflective vest and boots. A hard hat, safety glasses, and earplugs, may also be required at the work site.
  • The operator will be required to comply with and follow all company, OSHA and MIOSHA safety regulations.

Qualifications:
  • Valid license, CDL with airbrake endorsement
  • Clean driving record for the past 5 years.

  • Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from various people.
  • Willingness to comply and follow all company, OSHA and MIOSHA safety rules
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly orally and in writing.
  • Possess effective time management and organizational skills.
  • 2-3 years previous experience preferred but not required.
