Job description

Major League Baseball is looking for a Live Content Video Editor & Producer to deliver social-first videos and long-form storytelling pieces. This role focuses on fast-paced editing, narrative building, and potentially shooting and supporting on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Edit short-form social videos (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) and mid/long-form YouTube features
  • Build strong narratives using interviews, archival footage, graphics, and music
  • Support field shoots: capture b-roll, assist with camera work, and organize footage
  • Collaborate with producers, social teams, and designers to pitch and execute ideas
  • Apply platform best practices for pacing, retention, thumbnails, and titles
  • Help manage a team of social editors
  • Work closely with the Minor League Baseball team on quality control
  • Assist with special projects/production for Minor League Baseball/Major League Baseball

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3-5 years of professional video editing and production experience
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and After Effects
  • Strong storytelling instincts and ability to cut for multiple platform styles
  • Basic camera/field production experience preferred
  • Ability to work nights/weekends and travel during and after the Major League Baseball season
  • Baseball knowledge is a plus

Pay Range: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
