Job Type: Full Time, Salaried

SCC Purpose: Leading families to discover life in Jesus.

Position Overview: The Kids Ministry Director will work with the Next Generation ministry team as they lead Silver Creek Churchโ€™s kids and families to follow Jesus for a lifetime through events, discipleship programming, and relational ministry.

Relational & Strategic Leadership:

Operational Leadership:

โ€ข Implements weekly programming for kidsโ€™ birthโ€“5th grade in a safe and nurturing environment, including the organizing of setup and teardown.

โ€ข Develops, edits, and executes curriculum and programming scripts for Sunday mornings and midweek programming.

โ€ข Leads kidโ€™s ministry events, projects, and communications, including Vacation Bible Camp (VBC).

โ€ข Oversee Kids ministry related media production for ministry programming.

โ€ข Uses church management software to track volunteer involvement, attendance, and engagement.

โ€ข Provides clear expectations and guidance to volunteers to ensure effective service and ministry impact.

Work Schedule & Expectations:

โ€ข The Kids Ministry Director position is a full-time position with a 40-hour work week.

โ€ข Sunday Mornings: All Next Generation Ministry staff assist and lead in kidsโ€™ ministry areas (7amโ€“1pm).

โ€ข Midweek Programming: During Fall and Spring semesters, staff assist and lead in kidsโ€™ ministry areas (6โ€“8:30pm) on a

โ€ข weekday evening.

โ€ข Office Work: This position requires multiple days in the office each week to complete administrative tasks and project development.

โ€ข Key Expectations:

ยท Agrees with the doctrine and authority structure of Silver Creek Church.

ยท Works to establish and maintain a network of accountability.

ยท Organizes and executed ministry objectives in a timely manner.
