Job Description:

General Objectives:

Reporting to the ProcessSuperintendent, the ProcessOperations Supervisor typicallyworksa 4-3 rotation.The Process Operation Supervisorisresponsible forall aspects of theprocessplant andheapleach pad operations, andpartners with departments to provide both tactical and strategic support for the needs of the mine tooperatein an effective, efficient, and safe manner.

Key Areas ofResponsibilities& Duties:

Thekeyresponsibilities of this positioninclude, but are not limited to the following:

  • Takes an active approach in ensuring the health and safety of all Marigold employeesin accordance withall regulatory agencies as well as the policies, procedures, and goals of Marigold Mining Company.

  • Supervises and develops process operations staff in such a manner that fosters an empowered team capable of achievinghigh performancestandards.

  • Supervise and train lead persons and operators in allprocess areas including but not limited to the heap leach, carbon column plant,strippingand regeneration circuits.

  • Track andorder asappropriate suppliesincluding reagents,pipe,fittings,and other related materials.

  • Monitor,trackand adjusttheprocessplant, leach pad, waterbalance,andreagent consumption.

  • Track square footage under leachand solution application rate,work with the mine engineering group to coordinate leach pad oreplacement andoptimizethe CIC and strip circuits.

  • Work closely withEnvironmentalDepartment to ensure all Process areascomply withCompany, State and Federal regulations and permits.

  • Create Standard Operating Procedures for all Processing areas.

  • Effective communication skills with all levels of theorganizationincluding site and corporatemanagementrequired.

  • Grow direct reports by objectively reviewing work performance and coaching asappropriate tofacilitatetheir success.

  • Create andmaintaineffective and professional partnerships with contractors, vendors,regulators,and other stakeholders.

  • Maintain professional interaction with all intercompany departments so companywide goals can be achieved.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Working knowledge of the International Cyanide Management Code, preferred.

  • Demonstrated leadership and teambuilding skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively using all standard forms of business communication.

  • Ability to plan and direct work of others.

  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision as well as within a team environment.

  • Clear understanding and willingness toobserveand practice company SOPs and policies.

  • Ability to develop and mentor theprocessoperations staff.

  • Computerliterateandproficiencywith common word processing, spreadsheet,presentation,and database software.

  • Excellent organizational,problem-solvingskills, criticalthinking,and multitasking skills.

  • Ability to provide positive leadership within a production environment.

  • Ability to adapt to changes.

Required Experience:

  • A strong safety background isrequired.

  • Proven safety and environmental performance.

  • 7+years experienceingoldprocessing environmentrequired.

  • Previoussupervisory / leadership experiencerequired.

  • Background in Heap Leach Metallurgy, preferred.

  • Valid Driver License.
