Security Clearance: TS/SCI Fullscope Poly investigation is required

Apogee's ideal Engineer will support our Intelligence Client in a dynamic environment supporting operations, data analysis, and data visualization tools development.  The candidate will work closely with the chief engineer and product users to solve complex data-driven problems throughout the software development lifecycle of existing and new applications. The ideal candidate should have the capacity to work on both the front and back-end portions of the software environment. The candidate will implement software testing, operations, and maintenance (O&M), troubleshooting, system backup/restore, and software upgrades. A strong candidate will be a self-starter and have a demonstrated ability to learn and implement new skills across both software engineering and user domains adhering to well established software design and development principles.

We are seeking candidates with 5+ years experience in one of the following skill sets: 

  • Software Engineering
  • Web/Software Development 
  • Aerospace Engineering
  • Data Science
  • Applications Development
  • Machine Learning Engineering
  • Systems Engineering

  • Bachelor's Degree. STEM degree strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in an object-oriented language such as Java, C#/.NET

  • Experience developing software for geospatial, air and space domains
