This is an on-call position, which means it is a part-time, hourly role. This position will work an estimated 12 hoursper week to no more than 39 hours per week, dependent on the needs of each course and the employee's availability. Oncall positions may have routine or variable work schedules. The pay for this position is $19.29/hour. This position is not eligible for benefits.

Location

The Denver Municipal Golf Courses are open for play year-round (weather permitting) from daylight until dark, and the golf pro shops are open 364 days a year. In this position, you can expect to work on site at Wellshire Golf Course (3333 Colorado Blvd)

Denver Golf's diverse portfolio includes one 27-hole regulation golf course, four 18-hole regulation golf courses, one 18-hole executive mountain golf course, two 9-hole par three golf courses, two Miniature Golf facilities, five driving ranges (including the signature Aqua Golf water range), six Restaurants, and Denver Junior Golf - The First Tee of Denver (one of the largest Junior Golf programs in the country). Denver Golf has outstanding course conditions and top-notch guest services for the best value. From urban golf settings to mountain vistas, you will find it here at Denver Golf.

We are currently seeking Golf Starters and Player Ambassadors as we prepare for our busiest season yet! As a Golf Starter and Player Ambassador, you will:

  • Inform golfers of rules and regulations pertaining to the golf course, enforce rules, and - if necessary - remove golfers from the course for flagrant violations of course rules, golf etiquette, or safety

  • Check daily play tickets, provide direction and assistance to golfers, and ensure the smooth flow of play on the course

  • Provide timely updates and communications regarding pace of play, status of tee times, course conditions, and other pertinent information to the Golf Pro Shop

  • Complete accident and incident reports

  • Maintain accurate tee times, customer records, and pace of play records using a computerized tee sheet program

  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

  • Experience: One (1) year of participation in the game of golf on a recreational basis
