Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver tailored mindfulness-based interventions, utilizing MBSR techniques to assist clients in managing stressors and improving their emotional health.
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments to gain insights into clients' challenges and objectives, customizing mindfulness practices to align with their individual needs.
  • Facilitate mindfulness exercises, guided meditations, and breathing techniques that encourage self-awareness and emotional stability throughout therapy sessions.
  • Organize and lead group workshops focused on mindfulness practices, stress management strategies, and resilience-building, inviting open discussions and sharing among participants.
  • Incorporate mindfulness strategies into one-on-one therapy sessions to effectively address specific mental health challenges faced by clients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers and mental health professionals to ensure integrated care and support for clients' overall treatment plans.
  • Document all client interactions, including progress notes, treatment plans, and mindfulness interventions, adhering to ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse adult client base, including individuals facing stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. By leveraging mindfulness-centric techniques, you will guide clients toward profound self-discovery and healing, addressing their unique goals in a compassionate and supportive manner.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Pennsylvania.
  • Exceptional proficiency in employing mindfulness methodologies within therapeutic practices.

Preferred Experience
