Job Description
The Off Premise Sales Rep sells beer and similar products to convenience and grocery stores, on premise accounts in assigned area, and similar accounts by performing the following duties.
Duties include, but are not limited to the following: Maintain proper days of supply (SKUs), achieve price parity with competitive packages and have fair share of displays. Maintain effective relations with customers by serving as primary point of contact and building good rapport. Supply account with product by personally calling on accounts on a set schedule. Ensure accuracy of orders by maintaining up-to-date and current route book, Maintain sales, distribution, space allocation, placements, displays, proper pricing, introduction of new items, and point of sale materials. Obtain and use current POS materials from designated POS area. Upholds law regarding ABC regulations. Ensure fresh product by proper rotation in accounts. Remain up-to-date on competitor pricing and trends. Investigates and resolves all customer complaints and problems. Conduct vehicle maintenance in accordance with Company policy. Prepare and submit reports as required by Company policy. Communicate and coordinate with supervisor and driver.
Qualifications
Requirements: One year certificate from college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a valid NC drivers license with a good driving record. ABC permit or eligibility. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 160 pounds.
