Your Role: The General Laborer will assist the production areas in various tasks including sorting, counting, 5S activities, replenishing supplies, organizing stock, hanging blades, and assignments. May serve as a backup to other positions at the direction of management; other duties as assigned. This position continuously works around moving machinery, conveyors, and forklifts.

Shift hours: 1st-7am-3pm; 2nd shift-3pm-11pm; 3rd shift 11pm-7am

The General Laborer will assist the production areas in various tasks including sorting, counting, 5S activities, replenishing supplies, organizing stock, hanging blades, and assignments. May serve as a backup to other positions at the direction of management; other duties as assigned. This position continuously works around moving machinery, conveyors, and forklifts.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform work per work instructions and area metrics
  • Keep work area clean by disposing empty boxes and cardboard, as well as keeping material
  • Inform proper personnel of material shortage
  • Train others in all areas
  • Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area
  • Practice 5Ss

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Understand and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Basic math skills
  • Work well with others

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
