Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Millwrights for projects located in the Mobile, AL area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $30/hour based on experience plus $125/day per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:

  • Installation of electrical equipment and devices such as lighting fixtures, switches, and similar components
  • Cutting to length, routing, and terminating cables in accordance with electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
  • Installation of cable routing systems, including conduits, cable trays, and related support systems
  • Application of identification labels and markings to cables and equipment in accordance with electrical drawings and project requirements
  • General support for mechanical and metalworking/fit-up activities as required
  • When necessary, support activities in other trades or disciplines (e.g., welding, painting, or related tasks)
  • Installation of protective conduits using conduit clamps or mounting on strut channels with pipe clamps and support brackets
  • Electrical enclosure and control panel installation, including receiving, positioning, and mounting of panels on existing support structures
  • Visual inspection of installed equipment and systems
  • Verification of electrical safety and protective measures
  • Rotation direction verification of motors and drives
  • General mechanical installation and assembly work as required
