Job description

JOB SUMMARY:

Travel to customer locations for installation, troubleshooting, assembly and disassembly of MayTec products. Primary on-site liaison with customers, vendors, and subcontractors related to installations, maintenance, and repair issues. Potential for overtime at customer locations. MayTec pays travel expenses and per diems. When not supporting customers in the field, this role provides in-house production support to meet project requirements. 25% - 50% travel is typical.


JOB SPECIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the assembly of large structures, building trades or field installations. Experience as a millwright or machine builder is ideal.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work well with others and effectively supervise contractors and a customer workforce at installation sites.
  • Willingness to work safely and independently in the field while following all safety guidelines in a factory environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, as well as the ability to fabricate equipment as specified on drawings and prints. Experience using hand tools and measurement tools.
  • Problem solving skills to resolve issues in the field using related experience and knowledge of specifications and or standards.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally
  • Capable of occasionally lifting 50 lbs. and work overtime as needed.
  • A high school degree or equivalent. Associates degree in technical field or additional vocational training preferred.
