Action Cabinets Inc. is a commercial cabinetry and millwork company looking for a new team member to grow and maintain its position of one the Chicagoland’s most desired subcontractor for millwork and countertops.

Summary:

We are a family owned and operated, Commercial Cabinetry and Millwork Company based in the Chicago suburbs that develops the best solutions for our clients in all industries.  We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to meet our growing business. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized, and task oriented.

Job Requirements:

·         Must be able to read Architectural blueprints.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

·         Must be able to manage and direct others efficiently

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office.

·         Bluebeam knowledge preferred.

·         Must have exceptional interpersonal skills.

·         3 – 5 years’ experience (millwork/cabinet or manufacturing product environment) required.

·         Attention to detail is essential.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

·         Review all documents related to a project including approved submittals, Architectural plans and specifications, hardware schedule, product fact sheet for material handling.

·         Purchase product for installation or modification, and manage all conveyances of purchases in a timeframe necessary to stay on target with projects.

·         Field measurement and adding notes as needed, and reporting necessary notes to the drafting department.

·         Communicate with Field Foreman about any discrepancies noted on documents.

·         Provide contractor with submittal packages in a timely manner.

·         Construct orders for placement of all materials required for the project by communicating with the shop on key details and timelines.

·         Provide effective and timely communication with all contractors regarding current and future projects.
