Job description

Field Project Manager - Cabinets & Flooring
Evergreen + Maker • Charlotte Metro (NC) • Full-Time • $65,000-$80,000 + Performance Bonus
About Evergreen
Evergreen + Maker supplies and installs cabinets and flooring for residential builders across the Charlotte metro and surrounding markets. We're a lean, fast-moving company built on a simple promise: the right materials, installed right, on schedule, every time. We're growing - and we're looking for an operator who wants to grow with us.
The Role
We're hiring a Field Project Manager to take ownership of day-to-day field execution. This is a high-trust, high-autonomy role for someone who's relentlessly organized, calm under pressure, and equally at home on the jobsite and on the road. You'll be the primary point of contact for builder project managers, accountable for keeping installs on schedule, on spec, and ahead of problems.
What You'll Own
  • Front-line contact for builder PMs and superintendents - answer the call, solve the problem, own the follow-through
  • Scheduling and sequencing installs across crews, materials, and builder timelines
  • Jobsite quality control and punch-list resolution - work meets spec before it's called done
  • Coordinating material flow: ordering, delivery timing, and staging against build schedules
  • Holding install crews and subcontractors accountable for quality and timeliness
  • Regular travel to active jobsites and markets, including Greenville, SC and Braselton, GA (reliable transportation required)
  • Serving as the operational backstop across the business - ensuring nothing falls through the cracks day to day

What We're Looking For
  • Field experience in construction, install trades, or building products (cabinets, flooring, or millwork a strong plus)
  • Exceptionally organized; juggles multiple jobs, builders, and crews without dropping balls
  • Comfortable working in Excel and digital tracking tools to keep schedules, materials, and job status organized and current
  • Experience with builder/trade platforms such as SupplyPro or Procore is a plus
  • Strong communicator who earns credibility fast with builders and crews
  • Comfortable being coached closely early on, then running independently as trust builds
  • Willing and able to travel regionally on short notice
  • A self-starter who runs toward problems
  • No degree required - we hire on capability, judgment, and follow-through

Compensation & Growth
  • $65,000-$80,000 base, depending on experience
  • Performance bonus tied to operational results
  • A real growth path as Evergreen scales - this seat grows with the company

Work Location:
• Charlotte, NC
To apply, please submit your resume and cover letter highlighting your relevant experience and qualifications. If you have any questions, please contact us at hr@redcedarco.com. We look forward to reviewing your application and potentially welcoming you to our team.
