Where You Come In

As a Driver at Summit Stairs & Millwork, you’ll be responsible for the safe, efficient transportation of stairs and millwork products to our customers. You’ll play a key role in delivering a positive customer experience, ensuring orders arrive on time and in excellent condition. This position reports directly to the Shipping Manager.

We’re looking for someone who values safety, reliability, and great service — someone who takes pride in representing Summit on the road.

What You’ll Do

Driving & Delivery

  • Operate box trucks (up to 20 feet) in compliance with all DOT regulations.
  • Deliver products to customers safely, efficiently, and courteously.
  • Build strong relationships with customers through professional and dependable service.

Loading & Unloading

  • Load and unload materials, verifying contents against work orders and shipping tickets.
  • Report overages, shortages, or damages promptly and accurately.

Documentation & Communication

  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues.
  • Retain and submit gas receipts for monthly audits.
  • Take and email proof-of-delivery photos to the Shipping Manager.
  • Communicate customer concerns or delivery issues promptly.

What You Bring

  • Valid driver’s license and clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Report)
  • DOT certification is a plus!
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to lift/move up to 200 lbs with team assistance
  • Familiarity with ramps, docks, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
  • Physical ability to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and perform other job-related tasks
  • Strong depth perception and vision required for driving and delivery
  • Personal cell phone with GPS

Pay & Schedule

  • Full-time role based in
  • Monday through Friday schedule
  • Occasional overtime may be required
