The Milling Machine Operator plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by precisely operating milling machines to shape and finish metal or other materials according to specifications. This position requires a thorough understanding of machine operation, safety protocols. The operator ensures that all milling tasks are completed efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards and adhering to rated equipment capacities. This role demands consistent physical effort and the capability to handle stationary and mobile equipment safely. Ultimately, the Milling Machine Operator contributes to the production of reliable, high-quality components that meet customer and company standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience operating milling machines or similar stationary equipment.
  • Ability to understand and follow detailed work instructions and safety protocols.
  • Physical capability to perform constant physical effort and handle equipment rated up to 300 tons.
  • Basic knowledge of applying form oil and curing compounds in machining processes.
