What is a mill laborer?

Mill laborers are workers who perform a variety of tasks in industrial mills, such as lumber mills, textile mills, or steel mills. Their responsibilities typically include operating machinery, moving raw materials, cleaning work areas, and assisting skilled tradespeople. Mill laborers play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the mill by supporting production processes and maintaining equipment.
