  • Machine steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
  • Work to close tolerances, including .0002".
  • Read and interpret blueprints, process sheets, and dimensional specifications.
  • Perform machine setups, including tooling, chuck jaws, workholding, and fixtures.
  • Preset tools and make necessary tooling and offset adjustments.
  • Read and edit CNC programs for troubleshooting and process improvements.
  • Run CNC programs in single block when required.
  • Determine appropriate feeds and speeds based on material and tooling.
  • Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment.
  • Troubleshoot machining, tooling, setup, and quality issues.
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance and tool sharpening.
  • Identify opportunities to improve quality, setup time, and production efficiency.
  • Assist with training less-experienced CNC operators.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of proven CNC mill and/or CNC lathe experience.
  • Strong CNC machine setup experience.
  • CNC program reading and editing capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of tooling, feeds, speeds, and offsets.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Experience working to tight tolerances.
  • Proficiency with precision measuring and inspection equipment.
  • Knowledge of fixturing and workholding.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems not covered by setup instructions.
  • Overhead crane experience preferred.
  • Ability to train and assist other operators.
  • Must own basic hand tools.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for experienced machinists who are dependable, mechanically skilled, quality-focused, adaptable, and interested in continuing to learn and grow.

If you have strong CNC experience but don't check every single box, we still encourage you to apply. We're interested in talking with skilled machinists who take pride in their work and are willing to continue developing their abilities.
