Job description

Precision in sheet metal work isn’t just a skill — it’s what keeps advanced aircraft performing at their best.

Daedalus Aviation Group is proud to assist our client in Norway with the prestigious F-35 program. To support this project, we are looking for experienced Aircraft Sheet Metal Specialists who want to be part of a long-term project on one of the most advanced military platforms in the world.

Ideally, you have experience on F-16 or similar military aircraft (F-18, F-15, C130) or helicopters. Strong sheet metal fabrication, repair and modification skills are essential.Previous military platform experience is preferred, but we also welcome candidates with solid sheet metal expertise from commercial aviation.For smaller segments, internal training is possible.

Note: Applicants must be eligible to obtain the necessary security clearances within a reasonable timeframe.

Responsibilities
  • Perform schedule and unscheduled maintenance on sheetmetal
  • Manufacturing and installing replacement parts using various sheet metal techniques, such as cutting, bending, forming, and riveting.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to detect damage, corrosion, or wear.
  • Repair damaged sheet metal components using approved methods and materials.
  • Keep accurate and detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience as a sheet metal specialist in the aerospace industry, preferably with experience in military aircraft/helicopters.
  • In-depth knowledge of sheet metal processing and repair techniques, tools, and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret T.C.T.O.s, technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Good command of the English language.
Nice to have
  • Formal training or certification in aircraft sheet metal work.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality craftsmanship.
