Job Description:
The Scrum Master serves as key personnel responsible for guiding agile teams supporting the modernization and O&M of multiple bespoke mission-critical applications. This role ensures disciplined execution of agile processes, facilitates communication across stakeholders, and removes obstacles that impede team delivery. The Scrum Master works closely with product owners, developers, and government leadership to ensure alignment with program objectives while operating within a secure, high-stakes environment.
Work you'll do:
  • Lead and facilitate all agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).
  • Coach development teams and stakeholders on agile practices and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate sprint activities, track progress, and ensure delivery against planned commitments.
  • Identify and remove impediments to team performance and drive resolution across program teams.
  • Support backlog refinement and ensure clear, well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Promote transparency through accurate reporting, metrics, and communication to government stakeholders.
  • Ensure agile processes align with security, compliance, and operational needs of environments.

What you'll need:
  • 10+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Working with agile software development methodologies.
    • Demonstrated success facilitating agile teams on complex software programs.
    • Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and scaled agile frameworks.

Security clearance:
  • Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance is required

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
