Job Summary:
MDAEdge is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) migration and strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and multi-threaded applications. The ideal candidate will lead GCP migration projects and design scalable applications while implementing CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and execute GCP migration projects, ensuring seamless transition and cloud optimization.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java-based applications using Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and REST APIs.
• Implement multi-threading and concurrency best practices to enhance application efficiency.
• Develop and optimize SQL database queries and manage database interactions.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Maven, GitHub, and Jenkins for automated deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and resilient cloud-native solutions.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and proactively recommend improvements.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Hands-on experience with GCP migration (e.g., lift-and-shift, re-architecting)
• 6+ years of strong Java development experience with expertise in Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Batch)
• Proficiency in REST API design and development
• Solid understanding of multi-threading, concurrency, and performance tuning
• Experience with SQL databases and query optimization
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Maven, GitHub, Jenkins)
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and work in a fast-paced environment
• Self-driven, proactive, and excellent problem-solving skills
