Job description

Unarmed Security Officer

Midwest Security Forces is looking for experienced applicants to fill immediate full time Unarmed Security Officer positions in Valparaiso, IN. General security responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide excellent customer service to our clients
  • Secures premises and establishing a friendly presence at the site
  • He/she must be customer service oriented
  • The successful candidate will pay close attention to detail
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site
  • Respond quickly to critical situations
  • Ability to read and write detailed reports
  • Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards
  • The ability to work within a team environment
  • Must consistently maintain a well-groomed appearance and hygiene

Qualifications:

  • Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older as required by applicable law
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Security Officer experience a plus
  • Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving history
  • Must have reliable means of transportation
  • Must be able to pass drug screening
  • Must be able to pass background check

Midwest has an executive management staff with over 70 years combined experience in local law enforcement, military, and private industry.
