Job description

Fort Wayne Radiology, in partnership with Parkview Health, is actively recruiting Board Eligible / Board Certified Radiologists to join their team.

Radiologists are employed by Fort Wayne Radiology and serve all Parkview Health locations.

About Fort Wayne Radiology

Fort Wayne Radiology (FWR) is an established, independent, physician-owned practice serving vibrant northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio for over 70 years currently comprised of approximately 30 radiologists.  We are a transparent, democratic practice with collaborative management.  The shareholders of FWR are determined to remain a strong independent group.  Our governance is through an executive committee of five (5) elected voting members, 4 members serving staggered 2-year terms plus a President.

We are seeking Diagnostic Radiologists with breast imaging fellowship to join our team.  Fellowship training, while appreciated, is not required.

Diagnostic moonlighting is available for additional income upon interest.

We offer 10 weeks of vacation starting in the first year!  FWR serves Parkview Health Systems, one of the fastest growing and successful healthcare networks in the Midwest. In a joint venture, we co-own the area’s state-of-the-art breast and PET imaging centers. Work would include onsite coverage at the breast center and cancer institute, both of which are on the campus of the main hospital.

Indiana has one of the country’s most favorable malpractice environments.  The state’s system uses a medical review panel and has a cap on damages which keeps insurance premiums low.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO)
  • Board certification or eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Valid medical license to practice in Indiana and Ohio
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
