Job description

Midway Auto Dealerships is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our Kearney service team. This is an opportunity for a skilled technician who wants consistent work, a modern facility, and the support of an established dealership team.

Midway Auto has proudly served Nebraska drivers for more than 100 years. Our service operation provides a steady workflow and a professional environment where experienced technicians can continue building their careers.

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday
  • Full-Time
  • In-Person
  • No weekends

Compensation

  • $32 – $42 per hour
  • Strong flat-rate earning potential
  • Consistent workflow in a high-volume service environment

What You’ll Do

  • Diagnose and repair automotive systems
  • Perform vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical concerns
  • Use modern diagnostic equipment and service tools
  • Complete quality repairs efficiently and accurately
  • Work with service advisors and other technicians to keep vehicles moving through the shop

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of automotive technician experience, ASE certification, or automotive trade school training
  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume service environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Dependable, team-oriented approach
